Costinesti resort is situated on the Black Sea side at 31 km south from Constanta, in a serenity and intime place. The spa name is given by Emil Costinescu who made a colony with germans (1896). Since the first periode of existence in these places, was practised the agrotourism. Costinesti has became spa since 1949, when was founded the first children camps (300 places). Later (1959) was inaugurated the students’ international camp and the spa became “Capital of the youngs’ holidays”. Today, the spa’s accommodation possibilities are over 60.000 places, divided in hotels, villas, bungalows and campings. In surrounding of these are arranged green spaces, which give a special charm of this spa. The beach is directed to east and is ideal for sunrise viewing. Here you will find fine and hot sand, in the sommer time the sun shining 10-12 hour/day. The beach descends gentle in sea’s water, being safetly for the all ages. If the sea is too restless you will find the spa’s lake for funs. The lake is ideal too for romantic evening walks with boat. Numerous sport courts, nautical sports equipments, terraces, restaurants, bars, clubs and discos give for the spa a youth, lifeful air and also the Sommer Theatre offers daily variety shows, concerts, movies or other cultural manifestations.
